I had actually already had Phenax at the helm of an EDH deck, but it was one of the typical Phenax EDH decks, where I would attempt to mill out my opponents as my main win-condition. After CommanderTheory posted this article in response to a user-submitted decklist about a year and a half ago, I knew I had to make my own Blue-Black Dredge list. ![]() Phenax is probably the fourth Commander to ever lead an EDH deck of mine, and it is this very concoction that I am most proud of creating.
